Biography

Hi, I’m Charlotte, a self-taught photographer based in London, where I live with my loyal companion, Rambo the cockapoo. My lifelong passion for animals and their welfare, sparked by daily childhood trips to the zoo, has become the foundation of my work.

I aim to go beyond aesthetics by highlighting critical conservation issues, particularly the impact of humankind on captive and wild animals and the fragile ecosystems they inhabit. Through my photography, I aim to tell stories that reveal the complexities of these relationships, inspiring others to reflect on our shared responsibility to protect the natural world.

For me, photography is as much about the adventure as the final image. I’ve been fortunate to travel widely, including solo expeditions through Central and Eastern Africa, the Himalayas, and South Asia. Whether I’m capturing the vibrant energy of a city or the quiet beauty of wildlife in remote landscapes, my goal is to create meaningful images that encourage awareness and change.

Thank you for visiting my site—I hope my work resonates with you and sparks a deeper appreciation for the world we share.
